About The Position

The Mobility Operations Specialist will be responsible for working within a small team of dedicated operational individuals to build, test, implement and maintain operational process and solutions based on a set standards and requirements. This includes the ability to translate vendor products, product code, roadmap services and implement without negatively impacting current processes. The Mobility Operations Specialist will provide the engineering and fourth level support for Mobile support and operations services. The successful candidate will be responsible for understanding Mobile Device management tools, Mobile security, and how products integrates into RTX and our business units. This Individual will be responsible for understanding the overall product, how to manage, support and initiate changes including the ability support Mobile hardware, Applications, and MDM tools.

Requirements

  • A University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years experience.
  • Experience working with international teams and end users
  • Experience preparing and delivering written and verbal reports and general communications to audiences of varying levels of seniority and technical ability.
  • Experience with Vendor Management
  • Experience with Mobile Device Management Software
  • Experience with ServiceNow or a related software
  • Experience with wireless service providers
  • Experience with help desk ticketing software
  • Experience with Customer Support
  • Experience with Project Management

  • Experience with mobile envirenments

  • Microsoft Azure Active Directory
  • Strong analytical problem solving, priority setting, facilitation, and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for supporting all end users across the enterprise, United States and Internationally
  • Assist in the design and development of enterprise mobility operations solutions
  • Partner with BU Mobile Leads on end user support system consolidation, ad-hoc requests and escalations as they arise
  • Assist in the tracking and closure of ticket escalations (end user, BU Mobile lead, etc) utilizing various Mobile Device Management (MDM) software
  • Responsible for the creation and modification of Knowledge Based Articles
  • Continue to execute on new engineering and service technologies innovation
  • Assist in the consolidation of Mobile Operations Processes
  • Provides support, (architecture, administration, maintenance, monitoring, backup, contingency), for multiple MDM technologies and environments
  • Architects improvement opportunities spanning service delivery, user experience, security, etc.
  • Implement and execute system upgrades of the on premise and cloud servers
  • Maintain existing and, as required, develop new documentation that will include but is not limited to SOPs and System Architecture Guides and diagrams adhering to organizational templates, policies, and standards
