About The Position

ICF is seeking a Business Analyst to join their team. This role involves analyzing business processes, identifying improvements, and developing solutions to enhance efficiency and productivity. The Business Analyst will conduct research, gather data, and collaborate with technical teams and business units to ensure seamless integration of solutions. The position is remote and based in Puerto Rico, requiring travel up to 15% to the Guaynabo office for meetings and team collaboration, as well as periodic in-person meetings at client locations across the island. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree (or 4 years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree).
  • Must be a US Citizen or Permanent Resident per federal contract requirements
  • 2+ years of experience in a business analyst role or related field.
  • 2+ years of experience with data analysis and business process improvement techniques.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and Spanish.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with colleagues and clients.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and common data/reporting tools.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to travel up to 15% in Puerto Rico as requested.

Nice To Haves

  • 2+ years of experience in business analysis tools (e.g., Microsoft Excel, SQL, or similar).
  • Knowledge of project management methodologies (Agile, PMBOK, etc.).
  • Experience preparing reports, dashboards, or performance tracking tools.
  • Familiarity with geospatial, environmental, or housing-related programs.

Responsibilities

  • Engage with business stakeholders to understand their needs, gather and document requirements, and translate them into functional specifications.
  • Identify inefficiencies in current processes and workflows and propose improvements to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Analyze business data to provide actionable insights, trends, and reports to inform decision-making.
  • Work with technical teams to ensure that business requirements are accurately reflected in system enhancements or solutions.
  • Assist project managers in planning, scheduling, and overseeing project timelines and deliverables.
  • Support coordination between government partners and stakeholders, helping ensure program activities are aligned with requirements and priorities.
  • Create detailed documentation including business cases, use cases, and workflow diagrams.
  • Assist in user acceptance testing to ensure solutions meet the defined requirements and provide ongoing support during the implementation phase.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends and methodologies and recommend best practices to improve organizational processes.
