Full-Time Mobile Veterinarian
About The Position
Lap of Love Veterinary Hospice is hiring a full-time mobile veterinarian in Norfolk County, Massachusetts, including Attleboro, Mansfield, Taunton, North Attleboro, Norton, and surrounding areas. The veterinarian provides compassionate hospice and euthanasia care for pets and their families. The role offers independent mobile practice supported by onboarding, ongoing training, seasoned mentors, practice managers, experienced leaders, and a 24/7/365 Support Center. Schedules are available for three, four, or five days per week. The average workload is three to four appointments per day, with time for un-rushed visits and less paperwork. Compensation depends on schedule: four-day positions start at $107,500, and five-day positions offer a $130,000 base salary, with additional bonus opportunities. Three-day full-time and part-time opportunities are also available with prorated compensation.
Requirements
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM), VMD, or BVMS degree.
- Valid U.S. driver's license.
- Availability to work some weekends.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted and up to 100 pounds with assistance.
- Candidates are subject to a background and motor vehicle record check after hire and before their associated start date.
Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate hospice and euthanasia care for pets and their families in a mobile setting.
- Conduct an average of three to four appointments per day.
