Part-Time Mobile Veterinarian
About The Position
Lap of Love Veterinary Hospice is hiring an in-home Associate Veterinarian serving California’s Inland Empire, including Riverside, Corona, Rancho Cucamonga, Redlands, Moreno Valley, Fontana, Beaumont, and surrounding areas. The veterinarian provides compassionate hospice and euthanasia care for pets and their families in their homes. The role is designed to offer a more balanced alternative to in-clinic practice, with flexible schedules, typically 3–4 unrushed appointments per day, and less paperwork. Veterinarians practice independently while receiving comprehensive onboarding, personalized mentorship, access to experienced leaders, and support from a 24/7/365 Support Center. The position is veterinarian-founded and owned and is part of a community of more than 400 veterinarians and support professionals. Part-time opportunities are available for two days per week, with a guaranteed annual base salary of $65,000, bonus opportunities, and benefits. Full-time schedules of three, four, or five days per week are also available; compensation details are available upon request.
Requirements
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM, VMD, or BVMS).
- Valid U.S. driver's license.
- Availability to work some weekends.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted and up to 100 pounds with assistance.
- Subject to a background and motor vehicle record check after hire and before the associated start date.
Responsibilities
- Provide in-home hospice and euthanasia care for pets and their families.
- Travel to appointments in the Inland Empire and surrounding areas.
- Work some weekends.
