About The Position
Lap of Love Veterinary Hospice is hiring an in-home Associate Veterinarian to provide compassionate hospice and euthanasia care for pets and their families in Orlando, Winter Garden, Winter Park, Lake Hart, Kissimmee, Oviedo, Florida, and surrounding areas. The veterinarian-founded and owned organization offers an alternative to in-clinic practice, with a focus on professional fulfillment, personal freedom, and a supportive workplace culture. The role involves an average of three to four unhurried appointments per day. Veterinarians receive comprehensive onboarding, personalized mentorship, access to experienced leaders, and support from a 24/7/365 Support Center. Part-time opportunities are available for two days per week, with flexible schedules of two to five days per week. The posting also describes full-time opportunities for three, four, or five days per week; compensation details for those schedules are available upon request. Part-time opportunities are offered with a guaranteed annual base salary of $65,000, plus bonus opportunities and benefits. The position requires a valid U.S. driver's license, availability to work some weekends, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted and up to 100 pounds with assistance. Candidates are subject to a background and motor vehicle record check after hire and before their associated start date.
Requirements
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM, VMD, or BVMS).
- Valid U.S. driver's license.
- Availability to work some weekends.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted and up to 100 pounds with assistance.
- Pass a post-hire background and motor vehicle record check before the associated start date.
