Full-Time Mobile Veterinarian
About The Position
Lap of Love is hiring a full-time mobile veterinarian in San Jose, California, serving Santa Clara, Morgan Hill, Los Gatos, Sunnyvale, Mountain View, and surrounding areas. The veterinarian provides compassionate hospice and euthanasia care for pets and their families in their homes, practicing independently while remaining connected to a community of veterinarians and support professionals. The role offers flexible schedules of two to five days per week and an average of three to four unhurried appointments per day. Lap of Love provides comprehensive onboarding, personalized mentorship, access to experienced leaders, and a 24/7/365 Support Center. Compensation depends on schedule: four-day positions start at $117,500, and five-day positions have a $140,000 base salary, with additional bonus opportunities. Three-day full-time and part-time opportunities are also available, with prorated compensation.
Requirements
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM, VMD, or BVMS).
- Valid U.S. driver's license.
- Availability to work some weekends.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted and up to 100 pounds with assistance.
- Candidates must complete a background and motor vehicle record check after hire and before their associated start date.
Responsibilities
