Full-Time Mobile Veterinarian
About The Position
Lap of Love Veterinary Hospice is hiring a full-time Mobile Veterinarian serving Worcester, Auburn, Shrewsbury, Westborough, Holden, Grafton, Massachusetts, and surrounding areas. In this veterinarian-founded and owned organization, the role provides compassionate in-home hospice and euthanasia care for pets and their families. Veterinarians practice independently while remaining connected to a community of more than 400 veterinarians and support professionals, with onboarding, mentorship, experienced leaders, and a 24/7/365 Support Center. Schedules are available for three, four, or five days per week. The role averages three to four appointments per day, allowing time with families and less paperwork. Four-day positions start at $107,500, and five-day positions offer a $130,000 base salary, with additional bonus opportunities. Three-day full-time and part-time opportunities are also available and offer prorated compensation based on schedule. Compensation varies by schedule structure.
Requirements
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM), VMD, or BVMS degree.
- Valid U.S. driver's license.
- Availability to work some weekends.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted and up to 100 lbs with assistance.
- Candidates are subject to a background and motor vehicle record check after hire and before their associated start date.
Responsibilities
