Part-Time Mobile Veterinarian
About The Position
Lap of Love Veterinary Hospice is hiring a part-time mobile veterinarian to serve San Francisco North Bay, California, including Vacaville, Fairfield, Vallejo, Benicia, Napa, Concord, Novato, and surrounding areas. The veterinarian provides compassionate hospice and euthanasia care for pets and their families in their homes. The role offers an alternative to in-clinic practice, with flexible schedules and an average of three to four unhurried appointments per day. Veterinarians work independently while remaining connected to a community of more than 400 veterinarians and support professionals. The company provides comprehensive onboarding, personalized mentorship, access to experienced leaders, and a 24/7/365 Support Center. Two-day-per-week opportunities offer a guaranteed annual base salary of $65,000, plus bonus opportunities and benefits. Compensation details for three-, four-, and five-day schedules are available upon request.
Requirements
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM, VMD, or BVMS).
- Valid U.S. driver's license.
- Availability to work some weekends.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted and up to 100 pounds with assistance.
- Candidates are subject to a background check and motor vehicle record check after hiring and before their associated start date.
