Part-Time Mobile Veterinarian
About The Position
Lap of Love Veterinary Hospice is hiring a part-time mobile veterinarian serving Pensacola, Florida, including Navarre, Gulf Breeze, Cantonment, Gonzalez, Bellview, and surrounding areas. The veterinarian provides compassionate hospice and euthanasia care for pets and their families in their homes. The position offers flexible schedules of two to five days per week, with an average of three to four unhurried appointments per day. Veterinarians practice independently while receiving comprehensive onboarding, personalized mentorship, access to experienced leaders, and support from a 24/7/365 Support Center. Part-time opportunities for a two-day-per-week schedule offer a guaranteed annual base salary of $40,000, plus bonus opportunities and benefits. Compensation details for three-, four-, and five-day schedules are available upon request.
Requirements
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM), VMD, or BVMS degree.
- Valid U.S. driver's license.
- Availability to work some weekends.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted and up to 100 pounds with assistance.
- Candidates are subject to a background and motor vehicle record check after hire and before their associated start date.
Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate hospice and euthanasia care for pets and families.
- Conduct mobile appointments in clients’ homes across the assigned service area.
