Part-Time Mobile Veterinarian
About The Position
Lap of Love Veterinary Hospice is hiring a part-time mobile veterinarian serving Savannah, Richmond Hill, Pooler, Guyton, Rincon, Bloomingdale, Georgia, and surrounding areas. The veterinarian provides compassionate hospice and euthanasia care for pets and their families in their homes, offering unrushed support during meaningful end-of-life moments. The role offers flexible schedules of two to five days per week, with an average of three to four appointments per day. Veterinarians work independently in the field while remaining connected to a community of more than 400 veterinarians and support professionals, with onboarding, mentorship, experienced leaders, practice managers, and a 24/7/365 Support Center. Two-day-per-week opportunities offer a guaranteed annual base salary of $40,000, plus bonus opportunities and benefits. Compensation details for three-, four-, and five-day schedules are available upon request. The position requires a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree and a valid U.S. driver's license. Some weekend availability is required. Candidates are subject to background and motor vehicle record checks after hire and before their start date. The role includes physical requirements of lifting up to 50 pounds unassisted and up to 100 pounds with assistance.
Requirements
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM), VMD, or BVMS.
- Valid U.S. driver's license.

Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate veterinary hospice and euthanasia care for pets and their families in their homes.
- Conduct an average of three to four appointments per day, allowing time to support families and provide care.
- Practice independently in the field while engaging with the Lap of Love veterinary and support community.
