About The Position
Lap of Love Veterinary Hospice is hiring a part-time, in-home Associate Veterinarian serving Orlando, Winter Garden, Winter Park, Lake Hart, Kissimmee, Oviedo, Florida, and surrounding areas. The veterinarian provides compassionate hospice and euthanasia care for pets and their families in their homes. The role offers flexible schedules of two to five days per week, with an average of three to four un-rushed appointments per day. Veterinarians practice independently while receiving onboarding, mentorship, access to experienced leaders, and support from a 24/7/365 Support Center. Two-day-per-week opportunities offer a guaranteed annual base salary of $65,000, plus bonus opportunities and benefits. Compensation details for three-, four-, and five-day schedules are available upon request.
Requirements
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree (DVM, VMD, or BVMS).
- Valid U.S. driver's license.
- Availability to work some weekends.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted and up to 100 pounds with assistance.
- Subject to a background and motor vehicle record check after hire and before the associated start date.
Responsibilities
