Full-Time Mobile Veterinarian
About The Position
Lap of Love is hiring a full-time mobile veterinarian to provide compassionate hospice and euthanasia care for pets and their families in St. Augustine, Fruit Cove, Palm Coast, Ponte Vedra Beach, Nocatee, Green Cove Springs, Florida, and surrounding areas. The veterinarian will practice independently while staying connected to a community of more than 400 veterinarians and support professionals, with onboarding, mentorship, experienced leaders, and a 24/7/365 Support Center. The role offers schedules of two to five days per week and an average of three to four unrushed appointments per day. Three-day full-time and part-time opportunities are also available. Compensation varies by schedule: four-day positions start at $85,000, and five-day positions have a $100,000 base salary, with additional bonus opportunities. Three-day positions offer prorated compensation.
Requirements
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM, VMD, or BVMS).
- Valid U.S. driver's license.
- Availability to work some weekends.
- Able to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted and up to 100 pounds with assistance.
- Subject to a background and motor vehicle record check after hire and before the associated start date.
