Part-Time Mobile Veterinarian
About The Position
Lap of Love Veterinary Hospice is hiring a part-time mobile veterinarian serving Atlanta, Georgia, including Decatur, Smyrna, Kennesaw, Mableton, South Fulton, and surrounding areas. The veterinarian provides compassionate hospice and euthanasia care for pets and their families in their homes. The role offers flexible schedules of two to five days per week, with an average of three to four appointments per day. Veterinarians practice independently while receiving comprehensive onboarding, personalized mentorship, access to experienced leaders, and support from a 24/7/365 Support Center. The position is part of a veterinarian-founded and owned organization with a community of more than 400 veterinarians and support professionals. Part-time opportunities are available at two days per week, with a guaranteed annual base salary of $55,000, bonus opportunities, and benefits. Compensation details for full-time schedules of three, four, and five days per week are available upon request.
Requirements
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM), Veterinary Medical Doctor (VMD), or Bachelor of Veterinary Medicine and Surgery (BVMS) degree.
- Valid U.S. driver's license.
- Availability to work some weekends.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted and up to 100 pounds with assistance.
- Subject to a background and motor vehicle record check after hire and before the associated start date.
Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate hospice and euthanasia care for pets and families in their homes.
- Conduct an average of three to four appointments per day.
- Practice independently while participating in onboarding, mentorship, and available support services.
