About The Position

Lap of Love Veterinary Hospice is seeking a part-time mobile veterinarian serving Atlanta, Georgia, including Decatur, Smyrna, Kennesaw, Mableton, South Fulton, and surrounding areas. The veterinarian provides compassionate hospice and euthanasia care for pets and their families in their homes. The role offers flexible schedules of two to five days per week and an average of three to four unrushed appointments per day. Veterinarians practice independently while receiving onboarding, mentorship, access to experienced leaders, and support from a 24/7/365 Support Center. Two-day-per-week opportunities offer a guaranteed annual base salary of $55,000, plus bonus opportunities and benefits. Compensation details for three-, four-, and five-day schedules are available upon request.

Requirements

Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM, VMD, or BVMS).
Valid U.S. driver's license.
Availability to work some weekends.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted and up to 100 pounds with assistance.
Candidates are subject to a background check and motor vehicle record check after hire and before their associated start date.

Responsibilities

Provide compassionate hospice and euthanasia care for pets and families in a mobile setting.
See an average of three to four appointments per day.
