About The Position

Lap of Love Veterinary Hospice is hiring a full-time mobile veterinarian serving Columbus, Westerville, Dublin, Grove City, Hilliard, Powell, Delaware, Ohio, and surrounding areas. The veterinarian provides compassionate hospice and euthanasia care for pets and their families in their homes. The role offers flexible schedules of two to five days per week, with an average of three to four unhurried appointments per day. Veterinarians practice independently while receiving onboarding, personalized mentorship, access to experienced leaders, and support from a 24/7/365 Support Center. Three-day full-time and part-time opportunities are also available, with compensation prorated according to schedule. Compensation varies by schedule: four-day positions start at $85,000, while five-day positions offer a $100,000 base salary, with additional bonus opportunities.

Requirements

Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM), VMD, or BVMS degree.
Valid U.S. driver's license.
Availability to work some weekends.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted and up to 100 pounds with assistance.
Subject to a background and motor vehicle record check after hire and before the associated start date.

Responsibilities

Provide compassionate hospice and euthanasia care for pets and their families.
Travel to appointments in the service area and practice as a mobile veterinarian.
Work some weekends.
