About The Position

Lap of Love Veterinary Hospice is hiring a part-time mobile veterinarian serving Ventura, California, including Thousand Oaks, Simi Valley, Camarillo, Santa Barbara, Oxnard, and surrounding areas. The veterinarian provides compassionate hospice and euthanasia care for pets and their families. The role offers flexible schedules of two to five days per week, with an average of three to four appointments per day. Veterinarians practice independently while receiving comprehensive onboarding, personalized mentorship, access to experienced leaders, and support from a 24/7/365 Support Center. Part-time opportunities are available for two days per week, with a guaranteed annual base salary of $65,000, bonus opportunities, and benefits. Compensation details for full-time schedules of three, four, or five days per week are available upon request. Candidates are subject to background and motor vehicle record checks after hire and before their start date.

Requirements

Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM), VMD, or BVMS degree.
Valid U.S. driver's license.
Availability to work some weekends.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted and up to 100 pounds with assistance.
Successful completion of post-hire background and motor vehicle record checks before the associated start date.
