Part-Time Mobile Veterinarian
About The Position
Lap of Love Veterinary Hospice is hiring a part-time mobile veterinarian to provide compassionate hospice and euthanasia care for pets and their families in St. Augustine, Fruit Cove, Palm Coast, Ponte Vedra Beach, Nocatee, Green Cove Springs, Florida, and surrounding areas. The veterinarian-founded and owned organization offers an alternative to in-clinic practice, with a focus on professional fulfillment, personal freedom, and balanced schedules. The role averages three to four un-rushed appointments per day. Veterinarians are supported through comprehensive onboarding, personalized mentorship, access to experienced leaders, a 24/7/365 Support Center, and a community of more than 400 veterinarians and support professionals. Part-time schedules of two days per week are available, with flexible scheduling described as two to five days per week. The stated part-time opportunity offers a guaranteed annual base salary of $45,000, plus bonus opportunities and benefits. Compensation details for full-time schedules are available upon request.
Requirements
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree (DVM, VMD, or BVMS).
- Valid U.S. driver's license.
- Availability to work some weekends.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted and up to 100 pounds with assistance.
- Candidates are subject to a background check and motor vehicle record check after hire and before their associated start date.
