About The Position

Lap of Love Veterinary Hospice is hiring a part-time mobile veterinarian serving Hernando, Florida, including Inverness, Brooksville, Crystal River, Istachatta, Masaryktown, and surrounding areas. The veterinarian provides compassionate hospice and euthanasia care for pets and their families in their homes. The role offers flexible schedules of two to five days per week, with an average of three to four appointments per day. Veterinarians receive onboarding, personalized mentorship, access to experienced leaders, and support from a 24/7/365 Support Center. Part-time opportunities are available for two days per week with a guaranteed annual base salary of $45,000, plus bonus opportunities and benefits. Compensation details for three-, four-, and five-day schedules are available upon request.

Requirements

Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree (DVM, VMD, or BVMS).
Valid U.S. driver's license.
Availability to work some weekends.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. unassisted and up to 100 lbs. with assistance.
Subject to a background check and motor vehicle record check after hire and before the associated start date.
