Part-Time Mobile Veterinarian
About The Position
Lap of Love Veterinary Hospice is hiring a part-time mobile veterinarian to provide compassionate hospice and euthanasia care for pets and their families in Naples, Ft Myers, Pelican Bay, Estero, Bonita Springs, Cape Coral, Florida, and surrounding areas. The veterinarian practices independently while being supported by a community of more than 400 veterinarians and support professionals, comprehensive onboarding, personalized mentorship, experienced leaders, dedicated practice managers, and a 24/7/365 Support Center. The role averages 3–4 unhurried appointments per day, allowing time with families and less paperwork. Flexible schedules are available for 2–5 days per week. The listed part-time opportunity is two days per week, with a guaranteed annual base salary of $55,000 plus bonus opportunities and benefits. Compensation details for full-time schedules of three, four, or five days per week are available upon request. Some weekend availability is required.
Requirements
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree or equivalent (DVM, VMD, or BVMS).
- Valid U.S. driver’s license.
- Availability to work some weekends.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted and up to 100 pounds with assistance.
- Subject to a background check and motor vehicle record check after hire and before the associated start date.
Responsibilities
