Part-Time Mobile Veterinarian
About The Position
Lap of Love Veterinary Hospice is hiring a part-time mobile veterinarian serving Colorado Springs, Peyton, Monument, Fountain, and surrounding areas. Veterinarian-founded and owned, Lap of Love offers an alternative to in-clinic practice focused on professional fulfillment, personal freedom, and well-being. In this role, you will provide compassionate hospice and euthanasia care for pets and their families in their homes. The position offers an average of 3–4 un-rushed appointments per day, allowing more time with families and less paperwork. Veterinarians work independently while remaining connected to a community of more than 400 veterinarians and support professionals, with ongoing training, experienced mentors, practice managers, and a 24/7/365 Support Center. Schedules are flexible, ranging from 2–5 days per week. Part-time opportunities are available at two days per week, with a guaranteed annual base salary of $45,000 plus bonus opportunities and benefits. Compensation details for three-, four-, and five-day schedules are available upon request. Full-time team members are eligible for additional benefits.
Requirements
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM), VMD, or BVMS degree.
- Valid U.S. driver's license.
- Availability to work some weekends.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted and up to 100 lbs with assistance.
- Candidates must pass a background and motor vehicle record check after hire and before their associated start date.
Responsibilities
