About The Position

Lap of Love Veterinary Hospice is hiring a full-time mobile veterinarian serving San Mateo, California, including San Francisco, Redwood City, Woodside, El Granada, Daly City, and surrounding areas. The veterinarian provides compassionate hospice and euthanasia care for pets and their families in their homes. The role offers flexible schedule structures, un-rushed appointments, comprehensive onboarding, personalized mentorship, access to experienced leaders, and support from a 24/7/365 Support Center. Three-, four-, and five-day full-time opportunities are available, as well as part-time opportunities. Compensation varies by schedule: four-day positions start at $117,500, and five-day positions offer a $140,000 base salary, with additional bonus opportunities. Three-day compensation is prorated based on schedule.

Requirements

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM, VMD, or BVMS).
• Valid U.S. driver's license.
• Availability to work some weekends.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted and up to 100 pounds with assistance.
• Candidates are subject to a background check and motor vehicle record check after hiring and before their associated start date.

Responsibilities

• Provide hospice and euthanasia care for pets and their families in a mobile setting.
• Attend appointments in San Mateo, San Francisco, Redwood City, Woodside, El Granada, Daly City, and surrounding areas.
