Ford Mobile Service Technician
About The Position
Kendall Auto Group is seeking a responsible, proactive, and personable Mobile Service Technician for their Kendall Ford Bend service department. This role involves driving a fully equipped mobile service vehicle to customer locations within the town to perform basic maintenance and Ford recalls. Responsibilities include inspecting, replenishing, draining, and filling fluids and lubricants, balancing and rotating tires, performing vehicle inspections, completing basic brake repairs, vehicle diagnostics, and software updates. All work must be documented according to manufacturer and Kendall standards. The technician will also provide professional, friendly, and knowledgeable customer service at each stop. This is a fast-paced environment serving clients throughout the community.
Requirements
- Ability to operate a wide variety of vehicles both automatic and manual transmissions.
- A valid driver license and good driving record are required.
- Previous vehicle maintenance experience is required.
Responsibilities
- Drive a fully equipped mobile service vehicle to in-town locations to perform job duties at customer locations.
- Perform basic maintenance on service vehicles and Ford recalls.
- Inspect, replenish, drain, and fill fluids and lubricants.
- Balance and rotate tires.
- Perform vehicle inspections.
- Complete basic brake repairs.
- Perform vehicle diagnostics.
- Perform software updates.
- Document all work and hours per manufacturer and Kendall standards.
- Provide professional, friendly, and knowledgeable customer service at every stop.
