About The Position

We’re looking for a Mobile Security Officer in Bridgeport to support and help maintain a safe environment for customers, visitors, and employees. As a Mobile Security Officer, you will patrol, respond to calls for service, and provide a visible security presence. You’ll complete site checks, document activity, and support clients with professional, customer-focused service. Securitas plays an essential role for our clients and in society. The Security Officer position helps maintain a safe and secure environment for our clients by actively monitoring the premises, including patrolling a variety of locations. They preserve order while enforcing regulations and directives for a client site pertaining to personnel, visitors, and the area. Frequently our Security Officers will provide customer service and information to a client’s employees and customers.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
At least 18 years of age (or state minimum, if higher)
Ability to pass background checks and any required screenings
Ability to operate a vehicle safely and follow all traffic laws
Able to walk, stand, and climb stairs during site inspections

Nice To Haves

Prior security, law enforcement, or military experience
Experience in a mobile or patrol officer role
If you have retail, food service or hospitality industry background you are a great fit for this role; if not, we will provide you with the training and everything you need for a great introduction to a career in the security industry.

Responsibilities

Conduct scheduled and unscheduled mobile patrols of assigned locations
Perform exterior and interior site inspections (doors, gates, lights, alarms, etc.)
Respond to incidents, alarms, and requests for assistance as directed
Complete clear, accurate written reports and logs for each patrol
Observe and report safety or security hazards to the appropriate contact
Follow all post orders, company policies, and client procedures
Provide courteous, professional customer service at every site
