About The Position

Securitas is hiring a Mobile Security Officer in Bridgeport, Connecticut, to help maintain a safe environment for customers, visitors, employees, and clients. The officer will patrol assigned locations, respond to calls for service, conduct site checks, document activity, and provide a visible security presence and professional customer service. The role includes enforcing client-site regulations and directives while following post orders, company policies, and client procedures. No security experience is necessary; training is provided.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
At least 18 years of age, or the applicable higher state minimum.
Ability to pass background checks and any required screenings.
Ability to operate a vehicle safely and follow all traffic laws.
Ability to walk, stand, and climb stairs during site inspections.

Nice To Haves

Prior security, law enforcement, or military experience.
Experience in a mobile or patrol officer role.
Retail, food service, or hospitality industry background.

Responsibilities

Conduct scheduled and unscheduled mobile patrols of assigned locations.
Perform exterior and interior site inspections, including checking doors, gates, lights, and alarms.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and requests for assistance as directed.
Complete clear, accurate written reports and logs for each patrol.
Observe and report safety or security hazards to the appropriate contact.
Follow all post orders, company policies, and client procedures.
Provide courteous, professional customer service at every site.
Actively monitor premises, preserve order, and enforce client-site regulations and directives for personnel, visitors, and the area.
Provide information and customer service to client employees and customers.
