PT Casino Cashier (Bridgeport)
About The Position
As a Casino Cashier, you will deliver guest service on the casino floor by handling cash, making change, converting chips into cash, and redeeming electronic gambling machine vouchers. The role involves accurately and efficiently completing a wide range of guest transactions while handling large volumes of cash. The position offers a starting pay range of $16.50–$18.50 per hour, with the potential to earn up to $1.25 more per hour after training. A swing shift is available. Internal training covers four banks: Main Bank, Kiosk Bank, Chip Bank, and General Cashier Bank. Requirements
- Exemplary guest service skills and the ability to interact positively with the public and related departments.
- Complete internal training on the Main Bank, Kiosk Bank, Chip Bank, and General Cashier Bank.
- Basic math skills.
- Ability to stand and walk for long periods.
- Ability to lift 41–50 pounds.
Responsibilities
- Handle large volumes of cash and multitask accurately, honestly, and efficiently.
- Provide exceptional guest service by responding to questions and using problem-solving skills to ensure accurate and efficient transactions.
- Accurately count and redeem gaming chips.
- Redeem slot machine gaming vouchers.
- Complete check-to-cash transactions.
- Create new guest accounts.
- Print and pay out credit card cash advances.
- Issue and consolidate guest counter checks (markers).
- Exchange foreign currency.
- Pay out slot jackpots.
- Redeem sportsbook tickets.
- Perform ongoing cash handling, cashiering, and counting.
