Mobile Phlebotomist
About The Position
This PRN, as-needed role offers experienced phlebotomists flexible opportunities to conduct in-home blood draws in their surrounding area. Phlebotomists set and update their own availability, receive notifications when patient requests match their open time slots, and may accept or decline each offer. There are no set shifts, minimum or maximum hours, guaranteed number of draws, or full-time commitment. Patient demand is concentrated in weekday mornings and early afternoons, with little to no demand for evening, weekend, or holiday draws. Pay is $50 per completed draw, plus mileage compensation when applicable. This is a part-time independent contractor (1099) position.
Requirements
- Have an active phlebotomy certification.
- Have at least six months of current, relevant work experience, in addition to instructional hours completed while obtaining certification.
- Have reliable transportation and a clean driving record.
- Be fluent in English.
- Have a smartphone with internet access.
Responsibilities
- Set and update availability in the calendar.
- Review patient offers and accept or decline them.
- Complete accepted in-home blood draws.
