Mobile Phlebotomist
About The Position
PTI Health is hiring a full-time Mobile Phlebotomist to serve patients in and around New Brunswick, New Jersey. The role involves collecting blood and other laboratory specimens, processing specimens as required, and transporting them to a local laboratory or patient service center. The position requires a valid phlebotomy certification, at least two years of phlebotomy experience, and the ability to travel using reliable transportation. Requirements
- Hold a valid NCPT Phlebotomy certificate from NCCT or NHA, or a current phlebotomy certification from an accepted certifying agency.
- Demonstrate initial and annual competencies to remain in the position.
- Have experience using a smartphone, computer, and office printer.
- Have a valid driver's license in the state of residence, held for at least two years, with an acceptable driving record.
- Have reliable, efficient transportation and proof of current liability insurance.
- Have at least two years of phlebotomy experience.

Responsibilities
- Provide patients with the highest level of care.
- Uphold the highest level of ethical behavior.
- Follow policies, procedures, and requirements stipulated by PTI Mobile Lab and its partners.
- Collect blood and other laboratory specimens from patients using standard venipuncture and other appropriate procedures.
- Process specimens, including centrifuging, pipetting, and freezing when required.
- Transport specimens to a local laboratory or patient service center for processing.
