Mobile Phlebotomist

About The Position

PTI Health is seeking a dedicated, motivated Mobile Phlebotomist to provide patient-focused blood and specimen collection in and around Camden, New Jersey. The role involves collecting specimens using standard venipuncture and other appropriate procedures, processing specimens as needed, and transporting them to a local laboratory or patient service center. Employees must demonstrate initial and annual competencies to remain in the position. The schedule is Monday through Friday, with eight-hour shifts typically running from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. The minimum hourly rate is $20, with compensation varying based on the number of accurately completed draws or specimen collections. Full-time phlebotomists typically earn $20 to $37 per hour. Requirements

Hold a valid NCPT Phlebotomy certificate issued by NCCT or NHA, or current certification from an accepted phlebotomy certifying agency.
Demonstrate initial and annual competencies to remain in the position.
Have experience using a smartphone, computer, and office printer.
Hold a valid driver's license in the state of residence, with at least two years of licensure and an acceptable driving record.
Have reliable, efficient transportation and proof of current liability insurance.
Have at least two years of phlebotomy experience.

Responsibilities

Provide patients with the highest level of care.

Follow policies, procedures, and requirements stipulated by PTI Mobile Lab and its partners.
Collect blood and other laboratory specimens from patients using standard venipuncture and other appropriate procedures.
Process specimens by centrifuging, pipetting, and freezing when required.
Transport specimens to a local laboratory or patient service center for processing.
