About The Position

ExamOne, a Quest Diagnostics company, is seeking a PRN Mobile Phlebotomist / Examiner for a field-based role requiring local travel. The role provides diagnostic services to clients at their homes or workplaces and may also involve work in company centers. The Mobile Examiner performs patient care and specimen-handling tasks, manages appointments and case documentation using company technology, and supports daily operations through inventory, workspace upkeep, dispatch calls, and occasional peer mentoring. The position offers flexible availability and a dynamic work environment.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Active phlebotomy or medical assistant certification, based on state requirements.
• At least one year of phlebotomy experience, including at least 100 documented successful blood draws.
• Experience with pediatric and geriatric patients, urine collection, and EKG administration.
• Internet access, a computer, and a printer.
• Valid driver’s license and at least three years of driving experience.
• Motor vehicle record with no more than two moving-violation convictions in the previous 36 months and none in the most recent 12 months.
• Detail-oriented and tech-savvy, with adaptability, independence, compliance, and customer-satisfaction focus.
• Flexibility and mobility to perform a mobile role.

Responsibilities

• Conduct exams at individuals’ homes or workplaces.
• Take basic vital signs, record medical histories, and perform venipunctures, urine collections, and EKGs as applicable.
• Label, centrifuge, split, and package specimens for safe and timely transport.
• Travel locally to meet clients and provide customer service.
• Use company technology to confirm appointments, update case statuses, and upload completed exams to the portal within 24–48 hours.
• Assist with inventory, maintain clean workspaces, and dispatch calls.
• Occasionally mentor new team members.
