About The Position

ExamOne, a Quest Diagnostics company, is seeking a PRN, field-based Mobile Phlebotomist / Examiner in Pennsylvania. This independent and flexible role provides services at clients’ homes or workplaces and in ExamOne centers. The position combines patient care, specimen management, local travel, and administrative tasks. The examiner uses company technology to confirm appointments, update case statuses, and upload completed exams to the portal within 24–48 hours. Responsibilities may also include inventory support, workspace upkeep, dispatch calls, and mentoring new team members.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Active phlebotomy or Medical Assistant certification, based on state requirements.
• At least 1 year of phlebotomy experience, including at least 100 documented successful blood draws.
• Experience with pediatric and geriatric patients, urine collection, and EKG administration.
• Internet access, a computer, and a printer.
• Valid driver’s license and at least 3 years of driving experience.
• Motor vehicle record with no more than 2 moving-violation convictions in the previous 36 months and none in the most recent 12 months.
• Ability to travel locally and work independently with flexibility.

Responsibilities

• Conduct examinations at individuals’ homes or workplaces, including taking basic vitals, recording medical histories, and performing venipunctures, urine collections, and EKGs as applicable.
• Accurately label, centrifuge, split, and package specimens for safe, timely transport.
• Travel locally to meet clients and provide customer service.
• Use company technology to confirm appointments, update case statuses, and upload completed exams to the portal within 24–48 hours.
• Assist with inventory and maintain clean workspaces.
• Dispatch calls.
• Occasionally mentor new team members.
