About The Position

ExamOne, a Quest Diagnostics company, is seeking a field-based Mobile Phlebotomist/Examiner to provide patient care and diagnostic services at clients’ homes or workplaces and in company centers. The role involves local travel and offers flexibility in managing availability. The examiner collects medical information and specimens, performs applicable procedures, and completes administrative and specimen-handling tasks. Completed exams must be uploaded to the company portal within 24–48 hours.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Active phlebotomy or medical assistant certification, based on state requirements.
At least 1 year of phlebotomy experience, including at least 100 documented successful blood draws.
Experience with pediatric and geriatric patients, urine collection, and EKG administration.
Internet access, a computer, and a printer.
Valid driver's license and at least 3 years of driving experience.
Motor Vehicle Record with no more than 2 moving violation convictions in the previous 36 months and none in the most recent 12 months.
Detail-oriented, tech-savvy, adaptable, independent, compliant, and customer-focused.

Responsibilities

Conduct exams at individuals’ homes or workplaces.
Take basic vital signs and record medical histories.
Perform venipunctures, urine collections, and EKGs as applicable.
Label, centrifuge, split, and package specimens for safe, timely transport.
Travel locally to meet clients and provide customer service.
Use company technology to confirm appointments, update case statuses, and upload completed exams to the portal within 24–48 hours.
Assist with inventory and maintain clean workspaces.
Dispatch calls.
Occasionally mentor new team members.
