About The Position
Asset Risk Inc. is seeking a Phlebotomist to collect blood, tissue, and fluid samples from patients. The role supports patients in identifying underlying conditions and staying healthy. Asset Risk Inc. provides occupational health and hazard management services, including on-site services and in-clinic clinical blood draws across multiple states.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Phlebotomist or Phlebotomy Technician.
- Knowledge of best practices in patient identification methods.
- Familiarity with legal requirements regarding blood draws and fluid samples.
- Strong computer and data-entry skills.
Nice To Haves
- Phlebotomy diploma preferred.
Responsibilities
- Prioritize sample-collection requests based on urgency.
- Collect patients’ personal information.
- Determine the appropriate venipuncture method for each patient.
- Reassure patients during the collection process.
- Use sterilized needles, vials, and other equipment to draw blood.
- Label samples correctly and send them for testing.
