This role involves driving a personal vehicle to client facilities, primarily nursing homes, to perform phlebotomy services. The phlebotomist will be responsible for obtaining blood samples, ensuring proper patient identification, labeling, and specimen handling, and adhering to all company policies regarding patient information and transportation of specimens. The position requires planning and organizing draw schedules, maintaining equipment, and communicating effectively with dispatch and other departments. The phlebotomist must be available and responsive via a company-issued mobile device and notify dispatch of their availability for future assignments. Other duties may be assigned by the Area Phlebotomy Supervisor.
