About The Position

As a part-time, on-call, at-will Mobile Collector, you choose the days and hours you wish to work and the areas you wish to cover, and manage your own calendar of availability. You perform collections at an individual's home, workplace, or another specified location.

Collections include gathering medical histories, performing venipuncture, taking manual blood pressure readings and other vital signs, and collecting urine specimens. EKG experience is a plus but is not required.

ExamOne, a Quest Diagnostics company, has provided services to the insurance industry since 1972. Its services support life, health, and disability insurance providers and their customers, with the goal of making the underwriting process quick and convenient.

Requirements

• Be a skilled, licensed CPT-1 phlebotomist with an active, current California CPT certification.
• Have completed at least 100 successful practical blood draws; this will be verified before onboarding.
• Be skilled in taking manual blood pressures and pulses.
• Have reliable transportation and current auto insurance, unless using public transportation in a large metropolitan area.
• Have a computer, internet access, cell phone, printer, and scanner.

Nice To Haves

• Bilingual ability.
• EKG experience.
