Round Rock/Austin Mobile Pet Groomer
About The Position
Furry Land Austin is hiring a Mobile Pet Groomer to serve the Greater Austin area, with vans based in Austin/Round Rock, Texas. The role provides mobile dog-grooming services and excellent customer service while educating clients about pet hygiene and the importance of routine grooming. Groomers work from a state-of-the-art Mercedes Sprinter mobile grooming studio, with scheduling and routing assistance and an established, growing client base. Compensation is base pay plus 100% of tips, with stated annual earnings of $65,000–$85,000, additional bonus opportunities, and scheduled pay increases. The listed schedule is 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.; flexible four- or five-day schedules are available, and part-time work is also available.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
- Compassion and a sound understanding of animal behavior.
- Ability to stand for long periods.
- Ability to lift 70 pounds on a regular basis.
- Exceptional customer service skills.
