About The Position

The Mobile Maintenance Technician performs hands-on maintenance and repair work across multiple commercial properties. The role focuses on commercial HVAC systems and general building maintenance, with travel between assigned sites. Travel is by company-provided or personal vehicle; personal-vehicle mileage is reimbursed. The position may involve being the only maintenance staff member on duty during certain shifts, working extended periods without relief during priority or emergency situations, overtime-type assignments, shift work, and standby on-call duties. The role operates in a professional office environment and routinely uses standard office equipment. Compensation is $25.50–$30.00; the offered amount depends on factors including location, applicable collective bargaining agreements, experience, and qualifications. Requirements

Technical, vocational, or on-the-job training in at least one of the following areas: HVAC, electrical, mechanical, process controls, mechanical power transmissions, painting, plumbing, carpentry, or engine repair.
Possess and maintain a valid driver’s license; a commercial license may be required.
Maintain a good driving record, subject to periodic checks.
Basic computing skills in Outlook, Excel, and Word.

Responsibilities

Perform routine and emergency maintenance on HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems.
Troubleshoot and repair commercial HVAC systems, including rooftop units, split systems, and chillers.
Conduct inspections and preventive maintenance across assigned properties.
Respond to service requests and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner.
Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
Travel between multiple sites using a company-provided vehicle or personal vehicle.
