About The Position

Advocate Health is hiring a full-time Registered Nurse for its Hospital at Home program in Charlotte, North Carolina. The role delivers hospital-level acute care in patients’ homes, combining independent work in the home setting with the complexity of inpatient nursing and support from a collaborative interdisciplinary team. Nurses manage approximately 3–4 patient assignments per 12-hour shift, which may include admissions and discharges. Local travel is required within the designated service area.

The schedule is 11 a.m.–11 p.m. in 12-hour shifts, with rotating weekends and holidays. The position offers a company vehicle and gas card, competitive hourly pay, and a flexible schedule that includes alternating weekends. The listed pay range is $38.20–$57.30 per hour.

Requirements

• Active RN license in the state of Illinois.
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Strong IV, phlebotomy, and clinical assessment skills.
• Ability to work independently in home settings.
• Excellent communication and critical-thinking skills.
• Comfort with technology and remote monitoring tools.

Nice To Haves

• Two or more years of recent acute inpatient care or emergency department experience.

Responsibilities

• Deliver acute, hospital-level care in patients’ homes.
