About The Position

TravelCenters of America’s Mobile Maintenance Technician travels to customer facilities or distribution centers in a fully equipped “bay on wheels” to perform preventive maintenance services and repairs. The technician troubleshoots, diagnoses, and repairs heavy-duty trucks and trailers, providing accurate, efficient, professional, and accommodating service. The role also involves understanding the company’s standard truck services and specialized customer programs, knowing the products and services offered, and helping ensure customers’ vehicles are safely returned to the road.

Requirements

• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Basic computer skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and some holidays.
• Ability to work in interior and exterior conditions.
• Valid driver’s license with an acceptable motor vehicle record.
• Ability to pass an annual DOT physical examination.

• Previous experience in a repair or parts shop.
