Cox Fleet is seeking a Mobile Diesel Technician Level II to perform licensed DOT inspections, Preventative Maintenance inspections, light and follow-up repairs, and light mechanical/hydraulic/electrical and electronic diagnostics. This role involves performing more advanced diagnostics and repairs under supervision, continuing to learn advanced mechanical skills and diagnostic techniques, and complying with all company policies to achieve high performance metrics. The technician will work in a mobile/field environment, performing maintenance and repairs on light, medium, and heavy-duty vehicles. They will also be responsible for managing parts inventory, maintaining the company-issued service vehicle, and interacting effectively with clients and customers. The role requires independent work, managing a daily schedule, and maintaining high productivity while adhering to Standard Repair Times. The technician will also be responsible for obtaining parts from vendors, communicating with management for approvals, and ensuring all work complies with safety, health, and environmental regulations.
