This role is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and order in various facilities, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for all occupants. This role involves performing a variety of cleaning tasks, including industrial cleaning, floor care, and custodial duties across commercial and residential settings. Requirements

  • Valid Driver's License required.
  • Must have ability to work productively when unsupervised.
  • Regularly required to stand and walk, use hands to finger, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms.
  • Frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift or move up to 50 pounds.
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision.
  • Exposure to noise, dust, heat, fumes and other elements with several continuously present to the extent of being disagreeable.
  • Must have a documented disability as a requirement to meet compliance of our Federal contracts.
  • New York State Drivers License (Required)

Responsibilities

  • Maintaining clean, safe, and well-organized spaces by checking, cleaning, and restocking restrooms throughout your assigned area.
  • Sweeping and mopping floors to ensure a high standard of cleanliness.
  • Cleaning windows.
  • Dusting surfaces such as desks, cabinets, and furniture.
  • Performing floor care using proper safety procedures and signage.
  • Managing waste by emptying receptacles, replacing liners as needed, and ensuring all recyclable materials are removed and disposed of appropriately.
  • Supporting monthly, semi-annual, or annual special projects based on site needs.
  • Properly maintaining equipment.
  • Promptly reporting any malfunctions or concerns to your Supervisor or Crew Leader.
  • Communicating any issues, complaints, or incidents in a timely manner.
  • Ensuring all areas are left clean and secure, with no materials or equipment left behind after use.
  • Being flexible to work overtime as needed to support team operations.
