The role may cover vacancies, call-outs, or other gaps in the crisis on-call schedule and is not expected to involve active work every hour of an assigned coverage period. The Team Lead coordinates with internal clinical resources and designated external QMHP support, including HealthSource or another designated partner, and works with community partners such as hospitals, law enforcement, schools, and healthcare providers. The role supports staff safety, crisis protocols, accurate documentation, quality improvement, and applicable CCBHC, payer, grant, state, and federal requirements. Work takes place in Kanza offices and community settings, including client homes, hospitals, schools, and law enforcement settings, with frequent travel and use of a company vehicle. The role may involve encounters with people experiencing significant distress, behavioral health crises, substance-related concerns, elevated risk, or aggressive behavior.
