About The Position

The Mobile Crisis LVN works on Crestwood Behavioral Health’s Mobile Response Team (MRT), providing safe, effective, and compassionate responses to people experiencing mental health crises. The LVN responds to calls from dispatch and travels to callers’ locations to provide crisis intervention, including assessing and documenting holds. The role also supervises the Peer Specialist as part of the Mobile Response Team. The MRT delivers community-based crisis intervention, de-escalation, and stabilization, with the goal of safely connecting individuals to mental health care and resources. Services may be provided in settings such as residences, parks, shelters, schools, and hospitals. The position is full-time on the NOC schedule. Requirements

Current California LVN licensure.
Current California driver’s license.
Current CPR and first aid certifications.

Nice To Haves

Previous experience in mental health nursing.
Knowledge of DBT, WRAP, and psychosocial rehabilitation principles.
