About The Position

Immediate openings for Full time and Part time shifts in Richmond County and surrounding areas. Candidates must meet job and residency requirements for this role. Valid driver’s license, & reliable transportation. Serve as first responder, providing community-based, face-to-face clinical assessment, rapid response to children and adults with behavioral health conditions, intellectual/developmental disabilities, and/or autism spectrum disorder (ASD) in an active state of crisis. This service operates 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Mobile Crisis care is provided in community settings including, but not limited to homes, residential settings, other treatment/support settings, schools, hospital emergency departments, jails, and social service settings. The ability to respond quickly, professionally, and compassionately is required.

Requirements

  • Licensed in mental health to be considered
  • Submit a current resume
  • Submit three (3) professional references
  • Master’s degree from an accredited school with a valid license in the state of Georgia as an LCSW, LMFT, or LPC (preferred), or an associate level license (LAPC, LAMFT, and LMSW)
  • Valid CPR certification is required
  • Minimum one to two years’ clinical behavioral health experience
  • Experience in assessment, crisis intervention and stabilization skills
  • Familiarity with mental health, addictive disease, and Intellectual or Developmental disability service delivery system required
  • Valid, unrestricted driver’s license
  • Reliable transportation
