About The Position

CorrectHealth has an exciting opportunity to join our growing team as a Licensed Mental Health Professional (LCSW or LPC) in Carrollton, GA! CorrectHealth is a multi-disciplinary medical organization that provides high quality, cost-effective, comprehensive healthcare inside the walls of correctional facilities. The foundation of our company was established by a group of talented ER professionals. Brick by brick, we have been building our company from the ground up. In doing so, we have developed the right way - the "Correct Way" as we like to call it - of providing correctional healthcare. Currently, CorrectHealth provides high quality, cost-effective, comprehensive healthcare services inside the walls of more than 40 correctional facilities throughout Georgia and Louisiana.

Requirements

Masters Degree in Social Work or Counseling.
Experience with Alcohol/drug population.
Familiarity with multicultural groups, and work setting. As well as the chronically mentally ill.
License as Clinical Social Worker or LPC in state of employment.

Responsibilities

Provides assistance to individuals needing social and human services providing services in the fields of medical, mental health and public health as well as case management.
Coordinating all psychosocial community services under the general direction of the Clinical Psychologist/Psychiatrist.
In accordance with policies procedures and protocols established by industry standards of practice and licensing and certificate and other regulatory agencies requirements.
Responsible for implementing community educational programs assessing problems and determining appropriate types and methods of treatment and implementing intervention methodologies.
