About The Position

Merakey is seeking a Licensed Mental Health Professional to join their team in Shreveport, LA. This role involves providing individual and group therapy, choosing applicable modalities according to individual needs and treatment plans. The professional will also provide mini treatment team leadership and recovery-based, person-centered services. Key responsibilities include developing, writing, implementing, evaluating, and revising treatment plans in collaboration with the Treatment Team, monitoring record-keeping to ensure client charts are up-to-date and include all necessary documentation, and ensuring the timeliness and quality of treatment plans and developing progress notes.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Human Services related field, such as Psychology, Social Work, or Counseling; AND 1 year of PAID clinical experience, post master’s required.
• LPC or LCSW fully licensed.
• Must have appropriate state and federal clearances.
• Must hold a valid drivers license and have reliable transportation.

• Experience working with chronically mentally ill adults and/or dual diagnosis.

Responsibilities
