About The Position
Sunset Chevrolet is hiring a Mobile Auto Technician / Field Service Technician to provide on-site GM automotive diagnostics, repairs, maintenance, and installations at customer locations. The role is suited to an experienced technician who can work independently, diagnose vehicle concerns, and deliver customer service outside the dealership shop. The technician travels to customer locations, performs maintenance and other services, explains recommendations and solutions, and completes accurate service reports. The position also involves maintaining company tools, equipment, and vehicle and following company safety procedures. Candidates must be able to lift up to 75 pounds and work in varying environments. Sunset Automotive Group is a locally owned, family-operated dealership group with more than 45 years of history, representing 10 vehicle brands across 11 locations in Sarasota and Manatee counties. Requirements
- Previous experience as a GM Service Technician, Mobile Technician, or similar automotive service professional.
- Valid driver's license.
- Strong diagnostic, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and work in varying environments.
- Must complete and pass a background check and drug screen before hire.

Responsibilities
