About The Position
Sunset Chevrolet-Buick-GMC, part of the Sunset Automotive Group, is hiring an experienced Master Diesel Technician. The technician will perform a variety of diesel service work in a large, recently expanded dealership facility with a fully equipped shop and state-of-the-art equipment. The position offers competitive flat-rate pay, consistent year-round work, and potential sign-on and relocation assistance for qualified candidates. Candidates must complete and pass a background check and drug screen before hire.
Requirements
- Diesel experience in a new-car/truck dealership.
- Good diagnostic skills.
- Flexibility to perform all types of work.
- Own tools.
- Valid driver's license.
- Verifiable work history.
- Ability to engage in heavy lifting.
- Basic computer proficiency.
- Willingness to continue education.
- Must complete and pass a background check and drug screen before hire.
Nice To Haves
- Dealership experience and certifications, especially with heavy-duty vehicles and trucks.
- GM dealership experience.
- ASE and/or GM certifications.
