About The Position
Sunset Chevrolet Buick GMC is seeking an experienced Express Service Technician to join its high-volume service department. The technician will perform routine maintenance appointments efficiently, accurately, and to quality standards in a fast-paced, flat-rate environment. The position offers company-paid GM factory training and a path to advancement into a Certified GM Technician role.
Requirements
- Previous experience as an Express Technician, Lube Technician, Maintenance Technician, or Tire Technician is required.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced flat-rate environment.
- Strong work ethic and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Valid Florida Driver's License and good driving ability.
Nice To Haves
- GM experience preferred.
- Automotive schooling, ASE certifications, or manufacturer training preferred.
Responsibilities
- Perform oil and filter changes, tire rotations, tire repairs, and other routine maintenance services.
- Complete multi-point vehicle inspections and identify maintenance or repair recommendations.
- Perform fluid exchanges, battery and filter replacements, wiper blade installation, and other scheduled maintenance services.
- Document inspection results and technician recommendations accurately.
- Maintain productivity and quality standards in a fast-paced, flat-rate environment.
- Follow dealership, manufacturer, and safety procedures.
- Keep the work area clean, organized, and professional.
