About The Position
CTG is seeking a Mobile Application Developer for a client in Jersey City, New Jersey. The position is for a four-month duration and focuses on building and supporting cross-platform mobile applications with React Native, including integrating React Native into existing native iOS and Android applications. The developer will create and maintain custom native modules and UI components, implement communication between native code and JavaScript, and troubleshoot and optimize application performance. The role also supports application builds, deployments, and maintenance, and involves collaborating with development teams to deliver scalable, reliable, and maintainable mobile solutions. Requirements
- Strong proficiency in React Native, including component lifecycle, hooks, and state management using Redux and Context API.
- Experience with React Native CLI, Expo, and brownfield integration into existing iOS and Android applications.
- Knowledge of native iOS development using Objective-C and/or Swift, Xcode, and native module bridging.
- Knowledge of native Android development using Java and/or Kotlin, Android Studio, and Gradle.
- Experience building custom native modules and UI components, with an understanding of React Native Bridge, Turbo Modules, and native-to-JavaScript communication.
- Demonstrated experience developing and supporting production mobile applications using React Native.
- Hands-on experience integrating React Native functionality into established native iOS and Android applications.
- A background check is required.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group.
