About The Position
The ML Youth Room Attendant supports hotel operations by assisting with guest room cleanliness and readiness through age-appropriate, supervised, non-hazardous tasks. The role helps create clean, comfortable, welcoming spaces and contributes to positive guest experiences while supporting housekeeping workflows. Work takes place in hotel and housekeeping environments, with regular movement through guest rooms and support or back-of-house areas. Tasks include light cleaning support, organizing supplies, helping prepare rooms, and working with team members. All duties are structured and performed safely in accordance with youth labor guidelines.
Requirements
- Must be 15–17 years of age at program start.
- Interest in hospitality or housekeeping operations.
- Ability to follow instructions and safety guidelines.
- Dependable and flexible to meet business needs.
- Must be able to secure and maintain a license from Gaming Regulatory Authority (GRA).
- Responsible for following all relevant Detailed Gaming Regulations (DGR’s).

Responsibilities
- Assist team members with preparing guest rooms by organizing items and helping ensure spaces are clean, comfortable, and welcoming.
- Under supervision, tidy rooms, dust accessible surfaces, organize room areas, and help maintain assigned non-hazardous public or back-of-house areas.
- Assist with stocking carts, organizing linens, and replenishing approved room supplies.
- Pay attention to details that contribute to a positive first impression and understand the role of clean, well-prepared rooms in the guest experience.
- Follow instructions and complete tasks safely in accordance with youth labor laws and restrictions.
- Work with the team to support smooth housekeeping operations.
- Participate in feedback sessions and learning discussions.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
